Statistics summing up first three legs are now online

2009/2010 CEV Indesit Champions League

Luxembourg, December 22, 2009. The 2009/2010 CEV Indesit Champions League celebrated a stellar opening with the first legs of the League Round that set quite a quick and pressing rhythm heading rapidly towards the Christmas break. The defending champions of TRENTINO BetClic are still undefeated so far in the competition, with VfB FRIEDRICHSHAFEN of Germany, Russian Zenit KAZAN and Asseco Resovia RZESZOW of Poland having also all successfully gone through their first bunch of matches. Having a look at the ladies division, the French girls of RC CANNES definitely caused the major upset up to now as last week they scored quite an overwhelming 3:1 victory against the titleholders of Volley BERGAMO.
With the competition resuming after the Christmas holidays and namely next January 5, overall statistics of the best performers are now available on the CEV website right here.
Important specification: only players included in the roster of teams having eventually made it to the Playoffs 12 will be awarded at the end of the League Round.
