BALKAN VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS ABOUT TO BEGIN

July 18, 2006. The 2006 Balkan championships are about to begin with Turkey
hosting the girls Youth Championships in the coastal city of Kocaeli
from 26th to 30th July 2006.
All of the eight Balkan countries, i.e. Turkey, Serbia Montenegro, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, the fomer Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia, Albania and Moldavia, will be present in the Ataturk sports hall Kocaeli, raising the curtain for an exciting new season.
The Balkan Volleyball Association (BVA) has upgraded its competitions
during the last few years in order to provide an ideal platform for
future volleyball and beach volleyball stars to shine.
A few days following the competition in Kocaeli, the action will
move to the former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia and Romania, where
the men’s, respectively the women’s Junior Championships will take
place.
