CZECH TEAM EAGER TO DEFEND TITLE
European League 2005
Luxembourg/Prague, June 1, 2005. The international volleyball competition holding the title European League reached a huge success during the last edition, where the Czech team secured their next participation in the group of the best European teams with their victory.“We want to defend the title”, said the coach of the Czech national team Mr. Pavel Rerabek before the start of the preliminary pools. “However, our task will be very difficult because the level of the European teams is on the rise. Our first opponent is a very strong team from Turkey.”
The Czechs will start their European League 2005 journey in the
wonderful city of Jablonec. They want to win both matches showing some
good volleyball for the spectators. In addition, the team would like to
again apologise for the World Championships Qualification, where they
lost the game against the Ukraine.
