NESTEA European Championship Tour 2005
Luxembourg, May 8, 2005. When Beach Volleyball stars enter into a new partnership, the scene follows the new developments with the utmost intensity. During the NESTEA Innovation Meeting with all European NESTEA Managers in Zurich, the environment was right to sign the new agreement: Sascha Heyer and Paul Laciga will be the first NESTEA Beach Volleyball Team world-wide, when the season begins.“Presenting a partner of this magnitude is a huge mark of confidence for us”, Paul Laciga says, commenting on the new partnership with the Tour Title Partner of the NESTEA European Championship Tour. Mike Hughes, representing NESTEA as Zone President of Beverage Partners Worldwide (Europe) AG, is also pleased with the new team sponsorship deal: “When we met Sascha and Paul for the first time several months ago, both parties have developed a good relationship which has now expanded to a business tie. This team sponsorship contributes perfectly to all our Beach Volleyball communications activities with the NESTEA brand in Europe.”
With the addition of the Heyer/Laciga team NESTEA expands its Beach Volleyball engagement beyond the basis as Tour Title Partner of the NESTEA European Championship Tour. Heyer/Laciga are included in the new NESTEA TV Commercial and additional communications activities are planned in the various markets in Europe and worldwide.
Paul Laciga and Sascha Heyer had parted ways with their long-time partners Martin Laciga and Markus Egger following the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens in order to take up new challenges. “Everyone around us is really curious to see how it will work out with two such strong leaders like Sascha and me in the same team”, Paul Laciga said.
The Turkish Open of the NESTEA European Championship Tour in Alanya from 11-15 May 2005 on the NESTEA European Championship Tour will be the first Heyer/Laciga performance on the European stage and a chance to give a glimpse of the successful future the duo is looking forward to.
