CEV AND EUROSPORT STRENGTHEN COLLABORATION

Luxembourg, January 17, 2005. On Friday, 14th January 2005 the CEV President Mr. André Meyer as well as CEO Mr. Olivier Mottier and Marketing Coordinator Ms. Marion Meyers, received a selected representative team from Eurosport at the new CEV head office in Luxembourg city in order to discuss future cooperation for upcoming European competitions.

Following the hitherto successful partnership between the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) and Eurosport, the most widely available television channel in Europe, the two parties analysed further collaboration. In view of the increasing number of volleyball competitions taking place on European territory in future, especially with the competitions dedicated to the national volleyball teams, Mrs. Maria Abildrupt (Eurosport - Partnership Department) confirms the core interest of Eurosport to broadcast volleyball.
