IN PREPARATION OF THE ANNUAL FIVB WORLD CONGRESS

Luxembourg, 5^th May 2004. In scope of the FIVB Congress, which will be held from the 12^th-14^th May in Porto (POR), the CEV has organized a meeting between the CEV president, Mr. Meyer, and the European national federation presidents.

On Tuesday next week, the day before the FIVB Congress is due to take place in Porto (12^th - 14^th May), the CEV president, Mr. Meyer, is meeting up with the presidents of the European national federations at the Hotel Sheraton in Luxembourg City. In preparation of the world convention, with the presidents and delegates of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) as well as the presidents of the five continental confederations of Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, and South America participating, important points concerning European Volleyball are to be discussed, which will be raised at a later point during the world assembly.
