Beach Volleyball European Championship Final 2004

The CEV has the pleasure to announce the Admission Regulations to the European Championship Final 2004. With regard to the Olympic Games in Athens and the related Qualification Process coming to its close the objective is to safeguard equal qualification chances and fair play for all European players. Taking these matters into account the CEV Board of Administration has decided the following:

1.      The admission to the European Championship Final shall be according to the CEV Ranking as per CEV regulations. This decision is in line with the regulations previously applied for European Beach Volleyball competitions and as proposed by the European Beach Volleyball Commission.

2.      A total number of 24 teams per gender are participating in the Main Draw; a maximum of four Wild Cards may be allocated.

3.      The Country Quota for the participation in the European Championship Final 2004 in Timmendorfer Strand from 10 - 13 June 2004 has been set to a maximum of three participating teams per country to guarantee the participation of the best teams.

4.      It is mandatory for all qualified teams to participate in the European Championship Final as agreed with FIVB.
