Mogilev, Belarus, September 2, 2010. With a classy performance against Spain – combined with the defeat of Serbia against Italy – Bulgaria claimed the first place in Pool II and will play the Netherlands in the semifinal match scheduled for Saturday afternoon at the “Bobruisk Arena”. On the other hand, the hosts of Belarus outclassed defending champion France in straight sets but are out of the competition as Italy will stay in Mogilev as fourth ranked team of this group to play the classification matches 5-8.
