This weekend, all eyes were on the playoff rounds across all over the continent, but especially in Italy and Türkiye. While Imoco booked the last ticket for the Italian playoff finals against Novara by a huge win in the third leg of the semifinals, Eczacibasi also pushed their limits harder in order to catch Fenerbahce in the Turkish final round.

The reigning domestic league champion, the undefeated leader of the regular season, and this year’s #CLVolleyW SuperFinalist A. Carraro Volley Conegliano hosted Igor Gorgonzola Novara in the third semifinal game. The Imoco kept their perfect record until the second one, which resulted in Novara’s victory by 3-2. This time, Imoco started to play a superior game from the beginning, not to let any surprises happen, and became victorious by 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-20).

The final round between Imoco and Savino Del Bene Scandicci in the Italian Serie A1 Women will begin on the 17th of April, 21:30 local time.

Two superpowers of Türkiye, Eczacibasi Dynavit Istanbul and Fenerbahce Opet Istanbul, took the court against each other for the second battle of the Turkish Sultanlar League finals. The first one was pretty comfortable for Fenerbahce, and they found a 1-0 lead in four sets. Both teams had so many ups and downs this time, and the game was tied to 2-2 after four sets. In the decisive tie-break, Eczacibasi just played a more comfortable game and won by 3-2 (21-25, 25-22, 14-25, 25-14, 15-9).
