Georgia complete clean sweep of their friendly matches ahead of women’s EuroVolley
2017 CEV Volleyball European Championship - Women

Tbilisi, Georgia, August 4, 2017. The Georgian women’s national team are working hard to prepare for the historic 2017 women’s EuroVolley that their country will be co-hosting in late September together with their neighbours from Azerbaijan.

The players and coaching staff have just returned home from a long camp in Katowice and Gliwice, Poland, where they spent almost two weeks, playing also a number of friendly matches with local clubs. Georgia delivered a series of solid performances and as a result, they ended up winning all of the matches they contested on Polish soil.

Georgia will now continue their EuroVolley preparations at home before returning to Poland in early September for a friendly tournament where they will complete their work ahead of the much-anticipated home matches with Italy, Belarus and Croatia they will contest in Pool B of the 2017 women’s EuroVolley.
