Special occasions ask for special atmosphere
News from the clubs
Berlin, Germany, December 18, 2013. Anticipating their team’s last match of the year against no less than the Italian standout, fourfold club world champion and three-time Champions League winner Diatec TRENTINO tonight, the fans and spectators of BERLIN Recycling Volleys look forward not solely to a world-class Volleyball match, but will also enjoy an entertainment show prepared only and exclusively for the games of Europe’s elite club competition.
Well-known for the show side of their home matches, the 2013 German national champion has come up with a special idea for its international campaign: last year’s Playoffs 12 participant introduces the music show “Stars in Concert”, which has already attracted more than four million visitors at its stage at “Estrel Convention Center Berlin”, to its matches in the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League. The look-alike show presenting the world’s greatest musicians and entertainers has been a highlight in all of the home matches played at the Max-Schmeling-Halle since the club decided to move to the arena in the heart of the city.
At the last two home matches played against Energy Investments LUGANO and Arkas IZMIR look-alikes of the “Blues Brothers” and “Sting” enlivened the atmosphere. Early arrival is also today worthwhile as the show highlight will start around 7 pm to allow for a punctual start of the match. However, which star will be performing before the sporting action gets underway tonight, this is being kept secret by the organizers.
