Players and officials attending Youth European Champs in Kladovo receive eggs to celebrate Easter
2013 CEV Youth Volleyball European Championship - Girls
Kladovo, Serbia, March 31, 2013. On the day Western Christianity is celebrating Easter, something special was prepared also by the organizers of the 2013 CEV Youth Volleyball European Championship – Girls and namely by those who are hosting the matches of Pool II in Kladovo. On Sunday morning the players of the national teams (pictured is Germany) as well as the officials hailing from Catholic countries did receive Easter eggs at “Djerdap” and “Aquastar Danube” hotels in Kladovo where they are currently accommodated.
Mrs. Margaret Ann Fleming – Jury Coordinator for Pool II in Kladovo and a member of the CEV Board of Administration – said: “It was a big surprise this morning, especially for me. I am very grateful and thankful for this. Easter is a big occasion in Scotland and this made me feel very much at home”.
