Zurich and Switzerland look forward to hosting EuroVolley2013
2013 CEV Volleyball European Championship - Women

Zurich, Switzerland, March 12, 2013. As less than six months are left before the start of the 2013 CEV Volleyball European Championship – Women that will be co-hosted by Germany and Switzerland through September 6-14, the event is being extensively promoted in all venues. The second newsletter worked out by the VONOC focus on the Swiss host of the Championship, i.e. the city of Zurich, whose Hallenstadion will be the venue for the matches of preliminary Pool A, as well as of the Playoffs and 1/4 finals that will follow before the final weekend in Berlin.
Zurich is an international hub and cosmopolite city where Volleyball has found its home too via the unique success story contributed by Volero, the multiple national champion that has turned into a regular competitor also in Europe’s most elitist club competition, i.e. the CEV Volleyball Champions League. The newsletter – see the PDF below – provides Volleyball fans and readers with interesting info about Zurich, the Hallenstadion, the teams assigned to preliminary Pool A (Switzerland, Italy, Belgium and the eventual winner of the third round fixture starring France and Ukraine) and other news from the Volleyball community around Europe. An interview with Christoph Stern (pictured with CEV President André Meyer after the DOL held this past October in Zurich), the Chairman of Swiss Volley, is also included on the second issue of the newsletter together with a review of the ticketing campaign that got started already before Christmas.
The publication informs also about the various promotional actions devoted to the Champs that are coming up in the next weeks and months, including a world-record attempt for the longest indoor Volleyball marathon in history that is coming up in early April in Germany,

So, let’s check it out to get the latest news about the EuroVolley and for further information visit also the official website www.eurovolley2013.org
