Belgian Federation signs 4-year sponsorship agreement with Ethias

Brussels, Belgium, February 12, 2013. The Royal Belgian Volleyball Federation and the insurance company Ethias finalized yesterday a partnership that is meant to last up to 2016. The sponsorship agreement was signed by the President of the Royal Belgian Volleyball Federation and CEV Vice President, Philip Berben, and Mrs. Martine De Beul, Secretary General of Ethias.
As per the clauses of this agreement, the playing uniforms of all Belgian national teams will be displaying the corporate logo of Ethias and that leading insurance company has also acquired the naming rights of Belgium’s national league (Ethias League Volley).
Via the same press conference the Royal Belgian Volleyball Federation introduced the media to the much awaited finals of the national cup that are scheduled for this coming weekend in Antwerp. This major event will be once more sponsored by the national lottery that has already launched a special betting service – named Scooore - to invite people to predict the results of the final matches that will be opposing Asterix KIELDRECHT to VC OUDEGEM (women) and Noliko MAASEIK to their archrivals Knack ROESELARE in the men’s division.
To round off the press conference, head coaches Dominique Baeyens and Gert Vande Broek presented the program of the senior national teams for the 2013 season.
