Rabita BAKU seeks for fourth consecutive win
2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Women

Baku, Azerbaijan, November 18, 2012. Rabita BAKU is looking forward to the home match with Poland’s Atom Trefl SOPOT coming up this Thursday and whereby the silver medalists from the 2012 FIVB Club World Championships will try to prolong their winning streak in Pool B of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League. Rabita is topping the charts of the group with nine points having conceded only one set to its three opponents in the previous rounds of play.  
This past Tuesday Rabita edged Atom Trefl SOPOT in Gdansk in straight sets. Poland’s national champions will be traveling to Baku with the intention to claim a positive result in order to keep alive their chances to make it through the prelims of Europe’s most elitist competition. On the other hand, Rabita will try to remain focused in order to improve on its positive record and delight their always numerous supporters at “Sarhadchi Olympic Centre”.
After three teams from Azerbaijan edged Poland’s representatives in the Champions League this past week, the rivalry will be prolonged once more for the fourth round of the prelims. “We hope to continue our winning streak with the support of our fans as we have been doing so far in the Cups as well as in the domestic arena” says team captain Mira Golubovic. “Even though we have faced some problems so that we haven’t been always able to work with the complete group, I see that we are improving match after match” adds Rabita head coach Marcello Abbondanza. “I hope we won’t stop this positive development and we will make our fans happy with some more victories”.
