Bartosz Kurek to miss highlight of third round in Lodz
News from the clubs
Lodz, Poland, November 14, 2012. Two real stars will be missing the major highlight that is coming up tonight in Lodz as Daniel Plinski and Bartosz Kurek won’t be able to play for the likes of PGE Skra BELCHATOW and Dinamo MOSCOW respectively. Plinski got flu while Kurek still has not fully recovered from the backbone injury he suffered a while ago.
“I was hoping that Bartosz could join the match but this is simply not possible. We need to take care of his health” says Dinamo head coach Yuri Cherednik.
“I really wanted to play but could not pass the test demanded by my coach. I had to accept this is reality and will be watching the match from the stands” adds Kurek, who up to the past year played for PGE Skra. “I spent four great years with this club and definitely regret that I can’t play tonight. However, I still think this is a wise decision. I will support my team from the stands and hope both Skra and Dinamo will make it to the Playoffs 12” he says as many fans were already waiting for him to show up as Dinamo trained at “Atlas Arena” on Tuesday.
