Miroslaw Przedpelski to chair Polish Federation for 4 more years

Warsaw, Poland, October 10, 2012. Miroslaw Przedpelski – who is also a CEV Vice President – was recently re-elected President of the Polish Volleyball Federation thereby enjoying a third consecutive mandate up to 2016. This is the result of the General Assembly whose participants got together this past Monday to cast their ballots as, along with the outgoing President, two more candidates were running for the presidency, namely Artur Popko and Waldemar Bartelik.
Popko withdrew his candidature right before the start of the voting procedure that ended up with Mr. Przedpelski receiving a total of 48 votes, while Waldemar Bartelik got 39.
The composition of the Board of Administration for the quadrennial 2012-2016 was also finalized. The Board includes the following members: Józef Bartkowiak, Albert Błażewicz, Radosław Ciemięga, Robert Dworak, Krzysztof Szmydyński, Grzegorz Jeżowski, Jacek Kasprzyk, Waldemar Kobienia, Jerzy Mróz, Paweł Papke, Konrad Piechocki, Artur Popko, Witold Roman, Waldemar Sagan, Jacek Sęk, Paweł Wachowiak, Tadeusz Jasiński, Piotr Pykel, Maciej Bogusz, Grzegorz Wagner, and Andrzej Lemek.
