News from the National Federations
Hard, Austria, June 24, 2012. As the very last preliminary round of the 2012 CEV Volleyball European League was being held there right by the banks of the Bodensee, the city of Hard played host also to the XXV General Assembly of the Austrian Volleyball Federation (OeVV) whereby Peter Kleinmann was unanimously re-elected its chairman for the next two years together with all other members of the Executive Committee who were also confirmed for another term. Eva Kheil remains OeVV Treasurer, while Stefan Potyka and Markus Gaugl keep their responsibility for Beach Volleyball and the national leagues respectively, with Mr. Karl Hanzl acting as OeVV First Vice President up to 2014.
“Volleyball has gone through a tremendous development in the past years and I have to thank the delegates representing the nine regional Volleyball associations for showing once again so much trust in me and in my colleagues. We have been enjoying a very pleasant and fruitful cooperation with all our Federal States but still we have a lot of work to do and we’ll be certainly joining our forces for the good of Volleyball also in the next couple of years” said Kleinmann, who since this past September is also a member of the CEV Board of Administration.
