CEV Vice President visits Swedish Volleyball Federation
News from the CEV

Solna, Sweden, June 7, 2012. CEV Vice President Banu Can-Schürmann visited on Thursday the Swedish Volleyball Federation whose premises are located in Solna, right in the outskirts of Stockholm. “Even though I have heard a lot about Swedish Volleyball, it is the first time that I am visiting this country. This is a very good chance to learn more about the way the Federation is structured and its activities, as well as an opportunity to tighten our cooperation” says Mrs. Can-Schürmann.
“We are really delighted to have Mrs. Can here as we can learn a lot from her experience with CEV and we can also share our knowledge and projects for the promotion of Volleyball here in Sweden” adds Saffet Eraybar, the President of the Swedish Volleyball Federation, who – like Mrs. Can – is of Turkish descent. Mrs. Can-Schürmann, upon leaving Sweden, will travel to Turku (Finland) to join there her colleagues of the CEV Executive Committee and Board of Administration.
