Treviso, Italy, April 20, 2017. The fans travelling this weekend to Treviso can look forward to Volleyball matches of the highest level – but there will much more than ‘just’ a display of elite Volleyball on offer once the Palaverde will host the Final Four of the 2017 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women on Saturday and Sunday!
Turkey’s standout teams VakifBank ISTANBUL and Eczacibasi VitrA ISTANBUL are arriving on Thursday already and Dinamo MOSCOW will follow on Friday morning to complete the list of those challenging hosts Imoco Volley CONEGLIANO for Europe’s most coveted Volleyball crown.
As many as 120 journalists and photographers are set to attend the Finals together with high-ranking officials and guests, including two legendary Volleyball coaches from overseas – China’s ‘Jenny’ Lang Ping and Brazil’s Zé Roberto.
The organisers have prepared a busy programme to entertain and engage with the fans in attendance –including show acts before the matches as well as during the intervals between sets, with performances from break-dancers, cheerleaders and much more! The official orchestra of the Alpini, an elite mountain warfare military corps of the Italian Army, will perform live on Sunday shortly before the start of the gold medal match to set the tone for a memorable final act of Europe’s elite Volleyball competition.
A commercial village is ‘rising’ next to Palaverde and will feature the stands from a number of sponsors and partners, while providing those in attendance with delicious food and local specialities. The fans will also enjoy the opportunity of getting some extra make-up featuring the corporate colours of their favourite team before entering the sports hall.
Everything is set for a huge Volleyball party, which you can closely follow on social media via the official hashtags #CLF4Treviso and #CLVolleyW, via the live streaming available at www.laola1.tv, TV broadcasting in as many as 117 countries and territories as well as on the CEV homepage and the official website www.clf4treviso.com!
