Dinamo MOSCOW played for the second time this year the side from Azerbaijan whose roster includes mainly players from Thailand, China, and USA. As expected, Igtisadchi showed their fast Volleyball right from the start to make things not that easy for the hosts who trailed 13:16 before their middle blocker Iuliia Morozova flipped the charts around (17:16). Nataliya Obmochaeva and Maryna Marchenko contributed some more points for Dinamo thereby sealing the final 25-23. “We had prepared very carefully for this game; we knew that their main strength is their reception so we wanted to serve strong so as to shake their back line and prevent them from displaying their fast attacks” says Dinamo star Tatiana Kosheleva.
“We have been waiting for quite some time for this game and we really wanted to achieve a good result tonight” adds head coach Svetlana Ilic. “We played really good and my players were concentrated from the start up to the very end. I have to congratulate my team on what they have accomplished tonight.”
