The teams played point for point halfway through the third set (14 all) before the attacks by Peter Veres and Jochen Schöps made it 16:14 at the second technical time-out for Resovia. PARIS Volley made some more mistakes to help the local heroes accomplish their mission but the score got tight again as Akhrem was blocked by Marko Ivovic (20:21). However, Resovia regrouped once more and it was a block on Dutchman Jeroen Trommel that contributed the final 25-23 to fire up the party at the Podpromie sports hall.
