It’s all or nothing as BUDVA plays Pool leaders and Polish champions Resovia
2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League - Men
Budva, Montenegro, December 12, 2013. As they host Poland’s champions Asseco Resovia RZESZOW, Budvanska Rivijera BUDVA will be playing for their last chance to make the Playoffs 12 of the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Men.
“We are about to play the strongest team in our Pool, not only when it comes to their individual skills, but also for they are the current leaders in the group after four rounds” says BUDVA head coach Sinisa Reljic. “We played a good game in Poland, actually the best so far for us this year and I think we confirmed that we have got the quality and character that are necessary to take on some of the strongest teams in Europe” he adds. “However, this game will be a completely different story. This time Resovia will be very well prepared and this game is very important for our opponents as well. If they lose in straight sets or 1:3, they would also see their chances to make the Playoffs 12 diminish. We are in a good mood waiting for this match and I hope we will claim a home triumph.”
Last week BUDVA lost at the tie-break to PARIS Volley: “We knew it was going to be very difficult and now we have an even more demanding task” says Italian setter Marco Falaschi. “Everything depends on this game but I hope we will win. We expect a lot of fans who shall be supporting us as they did with PARIS. Frankly speaking I am very excited and last week the atmosphere was just great, like in a football stadium” he concludes.
