AsystelCarnaghi VILLA CORTESE is well ready for its last home match in the prelims of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women as the group mentored by Gianni Caprara plays host on Wednesday to the provisional leader of Pool B, Rabita BAKU. This game is extremely important for the home side that is fighting with Atom Trefl SOPOT for second place in the group and a ticket to make it to the Playoffs 12. “We just need to take some points from this game, even just one, to make sure we make it to the next round” says Caprara. “We will host a great team and the results speak for the quality of Rabita that has not lost any match so far in the group. They have been showing their quality and skills; they are placed under the guidance of an Italian coaching staff and I am sure they want to play their best here as well. We do not have to expect any present from Rabita, so we are ready to fight as we did in Baku where we were very close to prolong the match to the tie-break”. This will be a very special match as Rabita’s head coach Marcello Abbondanza and Puerto Rican spiker Aurea Cruz had spent the past few seasons with Villa Cortese.

AsystelCarnaghi VILLA CORTESE is well ready for its last home match in the prelims of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women as the group mentored by Gianni Caprara plays host on Wednesday to the provisional leader of Pool B, Rabita BAKU. This game is extremely important for the home side that is fighting with Atom Trefl SOPOT for second place in the group and a ticket to make it to the Playoffs 12.
