Azerrail takes up challenge brought by Eczacibasi with right attitude
2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women

Baku, Azerbaijan, December 4, 2012. Azerrail BAKU will be hosting this Wednesday the provisional leader of Pool D, Eczacibasi VitrA ISTANBUL of Turkey, for its last home match in the prelims of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women.
After disappointingly losing to Tauron MKS DABROWA GORNICZA in the last round, Azerrail got back on track in the national league by edging there Rabita and Lokomotiv, i.e. Azerbaijan’s two additional representatives in Europe’s most elitist competition. “These victories were really important for us” says team captain Sara Anzanello. “But if I just recall our match with Tauron, I get crazy. We shouldn’t have lost there”.
“Immediately after the DOL I said we did not have an easy Pool at all” adds head coach Alessandro Chiappini. “Every team can cause a surprise here but everything depends on us, so we have to beat Eczacibasi to qualify to the Playoffs 12”.
