RC CANNES needs home win to stay in contention for Playoffs
2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Women

Cannes, France, December 1, 2012. As they are ranked third in the standings of Pool A after four rounds of play, last year’s silver medalists of RC CANNES need to score a home win on Tuesday as they play host to Volero ZURICH at “Palais des Victoires”.
With Turkey’s Vakifbank ISTANBUL being the clear-cut leader of the group with four consecutive wins, RC CANNES shall take maximum points from this game with Switzerland’s champions to remain in contention for a spot in the Playoffs 12 and battle it out with Russia’s Uralochka-NTMK EKATERINBURG in the last leg of the prelims.    
Team captain Victoria Ravva and her teammates are very determined and confident they will be able to stand the pressure as they are somehow “obliged” to score a 3:0 or 3:1 home win.
