Double straight win brings JASTRZEBSKI into eighth of finals of CEV Cup
2013 CEV Volleyball Cup - Men

Rennes, France, November 2, 2012. Poland’s JASTRZEBSKI Wegiel qualified for the 1/8 finals of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Cup – Men after edging for the second time in one week France’s RENNES Volley 35 in straight sets (25-15, 25-23, and 25-23). The guests from Poland were anchored by their captain Michal Lasko (pictured) and even though Jenia Grebennikov played really well for the home side, RENNES lost in straight sets being hence relegated to the CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup.
After clearly losing the opening set (15-25), RENNES got to the front in the second (14:8, 19:14) but JASTRZEBSKI eventually fought its way back and with a double 25-23 could finish the game in straight sets.
