Arkas IZMIR goes for remake of last year's semi by hosting Skra BELCHATOW
2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Men

Izmir, Turkey, January 14, 2013. Arkas IZMIR of Turkey and Poland’s PGE Skra BELCHATOW are about to cross their ways in the Playoffs 12 of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League for what is a remake of last year’s semifinal that was claimed by Skra in straight sets. The first clash is scheduled for Tuesday before Skra hosts Arkas next week in Lodz.
“We want to catch a good start in this first round of the Playoffs 12” says Arkas head coach Glenn Hoag. “We feel ready for the second half of our European campaign. As the season got started we had to cope with a few injuries, but our players are coming back by the time it really counts the most. They are all getting into a good shape and this makes me evidently happy. We know that Skra is a good team with much experience in the Champions League and so I am expecting a tough but interesting match at the same time. We want to continue our campaign with a positive result also to delight our home fans”.
