Arkas IZMIR wants to keep second place in Pool F
2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Men
Izmir, Turkey, December 3, 2012. On Tuesday Arkas IZMIR will host CAI TERUEL of Spain for the fifth round of action in preliminary Pool F of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League. Via this home match Arkas would like to make a step forward to the Playoffs 12.
“We want to keep our current position in the group and hence this match with CAI TERUEL is extremely important for us” says head coach Glenn Hoag. “The first match we played in Spain was a real fight that we eventually claimed at the tie-break and it was definitely not an easy one. We are on top of the standings in the national league and I am pretty happy with the performance of my players so far also in the Champions League. We want to continue our campaign with a positive result also to please our fans”.
