Fenerbahce longs for first win and immediate revenge from Tomis
2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Men
Istanbul, Turkey, November 19, 2012. Fenerbahce Grundig ISTANBUL is still longing for its first win in the prelims of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League and will try to attain this goal by hosting on Wednesday Romania’s Tomis CONSTANTA for the fourth round of play in Pool E. The guys in yellow and black jerseys lost last week in straight sets to Tomis and are currently at the bottom of the standings in their group, so evidently motivated to search for immediate revenge.
“We lost our first match last week so we definitely want to claim this return game. The injury of our setter is evidently sidelining our team but we will do our best to bring it home as we all wish” says head coach Daniele Bagnoli.
“I think this is our last chance to continue our adventure in the European Cups for this season. We are not in a good shape and because of the injury I have sustained I won’t be able to play” adds team captain Arslan Eksi. “I am sure my friends will do their best and I feel like we can win this match and continue our European campaign”.
