CUNEO gets ready for return game with Asseco Resovia
2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Men

Cuneo, Italy, November 16, 2012. This coming Tuesday, November 20, Bre Banca Lannutti CUNEO of Italy will play once more Asseco Resovia RZESZOW of Poland after scoring a few days ago a splendid 3:0 away win for the third round of action in preliminary Pool G of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Men. The away match played in front of 4’500 fans at “Podpromie” sports hall turned into a splendid night for CUNEO that with this result was able to keep the provisional leadership in Pool G with an immaculate record of 3 wins and no sets conceded to its opponents.
Head coach Roberto Piazza is definitely satisfied with the result: “Our serve was the key to this great success. However, Asseco Resovia is a strong team and we need to prepare carefully for the next game in Italy”. Back from Poland the group re-started its schedule having to play Marmi Lanza VERONA for the seventh round of the national league. “This straight win is really something special and not easy for a visiting team. We put up a very good performance there and we pressured our opponents really well with our service. We were able to fight back in some difficult moments and are happy with this. Still we are only halfway through this League Round and we have to remain focused also on the next games” concludes team captain Wout Wijsmans.
