France just unstoppable downs Spain in straight sets
2013 CEV Volleyball European Championship - Men

Jelgava, Latvia, September 14, 2012. France scored on Friday its fourth consecutive win to re-assert their supremacy in Pool F by edging Spain in three straight sets (25-22, 25-21, and 25-19). The ticket for the final round of the 2013 European Championship is quite close for the side that today was anchored by Marien Moreau with 14 points and Gerald Hardy-Dessources (pictured) with 12. Iban Perez paced Spain with 17.
“The key for our win was the block; we defended a lot of balls and this was the turning point of the game” said France’s head coach Laurent Tillie.
The home guys of Latvia cemented their second place in the standings of the group by downing Hungary 3:1 (24-26, 25-14, 25-14, and 25-16).
